The reason that I chosee this video is because I think this particular slide show has a lot of landscaping I find very beautiful. It has different features from different views such as snow, sundown, the beach, animals and other beautiful sites. Iy is really neat!! =] I find it really relaxing to look at such views. The video, “Now You Know,” is a film that is trying to tell students something important about our futures. It tells us that 25% of the population in China with the highest IQ’s is greater than the total population on North America. In China, they have more honor students than we have students; meaning they have more smart kids than we have average/unproficient students and honors. If your one out of a million in China, there are 1,300 others like you. The message this video is trying to tell us is that Americans, don’t care about there education and depend on technology. Students that are in first grade now, by the time they are 23 years old, a 1,000 dollar computer will exceed the capabilities of the human brain. As Americans, we are becoming more lazier and not taking our brains to the next level– by the amount of technological information is doubling each year, and predictions are that by 2013, the supercomputer will be built that is stronger than the capability of the human brain.

The most significant quote on my wordle is that 25% of population in China with the highest IQ’s is greater than the population in North America. What this really means that our country, North America has a population of 514,600,000, and 25% of the students in China with high IQs, beat the number of people we have in our country. Concluding, that we are lazy and don’t take anything seriously because technology will take care of it for us. We will e-mail someone in India or China and do our work, have it ready in the morning, and for a cheap cost. This affects my future because I am not in them countries and not getting the advanced education and they, will get the brains to develop great technology and advanced economic uses. So when they create them, the computers will be smarter than an American and will make it worth a lot. When one day America will run out of money to buy them an we will start to work for them.

After watching this short film, it has made me look at the future differently. It has made me realize that fast food places and construction jobs will possibly ruined. By ten or so years later, they will create computer robots to take care of them simple jobs. And people that are uneducated and work for McDonald’s for a living, will not have them jobs anymore because they will be highly improved. The carrier change I will make is to finish school and become something that requires humans needs- maybe like a doctor or a dentist. I always wanted to finish school but now I now with out the proper education and not slacking off and taking school seriously, I will be a NOBODY in life.

After exploring this new piece of webware calle d Foto Flexer , I’ve discovered what this neat site does for online users; it allows any consumer to edit a picture of there choice and transform it into what they desire! For instance, if a user has blemishes, or red eye, it can edit it and fix these common problems. And, another one I’d have to say for the ladies it can change the pictures mode with black and white, sepia, pixel, blurr, sketch, ink stamp, painting, and many more! What this product created for me, is I love the fact that I can chan ge a nice senery, or flowers into a glowing, beautiful picture! It has the right effects, cropping, color balance, and borders that make it the way I want it. As time passed by, I began learning each tool as it’s meaning. A couple features that really gave me a heads up is the blur edges– it makes a picture look soft and delicate. It really caught my attention because I like the mood it gives the picture. Also, I liked another effect called grayscale. I like this tool because it gives a picture meaning, such as mysterious, and back in the older days.. Now, as I started creating my own picture, and tweaked it to understand the taste of this webware.What I have done to this picture is I first adjusted its Hue, Saturation, and Lightness to make it more brighter. I also changed the contrast to make it even out. Then, I when to the editing tab and put on blur edges. At first the blurr edges came out a little much, but you can adjust how little/much you want. Then, I put a red and black border to make it look cleaned up. :] If there is a way to improve this software, I would think that this site should have a search button to help users find any picture they would want to insert into the picture they choose. I think this would be a nifty button. After searching the web for reviewsfor fotoflexer.com, I agree with these reviews because they say, “ I absolutely love FotoFlexer! Finally, I can create fun new photos of my friends on FaceBook.” It is really cool, a lot of users give it a high thumbs up! Another reviewI’ve read is one that states it is a excessive FREE online photo editor that is FREE to anyone to use! And instead og paying for a two hundred editing system, this is free! My overall impression of the webware product is I strongly think it is great. Because I enjoy each tool, I like the red eye fixer, and the fact it can also make videos. I will be using the more often as it grows and improves.

Picnik review

After exploring this new site called picnik.com, I’ve played with it for a while an I think it’s a really unique site. This new piece of web ware allows online users or myself to edit pictures of any kind and change them in any way. A cool tool I like was that you are able to crop an image, change its color, and have exotic effects like neon. Neon impressed me the most because you can change the picture from being words, then have neon effects and any color you want it. Also, another cool feature I liked is the ability to change the mode of the picture and have it completely black and white or sepia. I edited my photos quite differently, I’ve changed this Mustang baby by adding effects and glowed the edges. To improve this piece of soft ware, I suggest that the creators add another tool that allows the creator paste pictures together. Like I would like to have a picture of myself and a picture of my favorite artist together such as a collage.

I’ve visited a site called gradware.com, and viewed a software called Acrobat 9 Pro and it is a expensive soft ware that converts any document that prints to PDF to preserve formatting and ensure document integrity. Also another piece of soft ware I’ve checked out is Photoshop CS3 Extended. It is a product that transforms an image in 3D, and does professional media work that involves videos and motion graphic films. The heads up on this site picnik.com is it is a smooth site that performs the editing and the necessities people want from photo editing. It allows you to pretty much up load any picture you take or from the internet the consumer would like to edit. My overall impression of this site is I think it is a really cool FREE site that is very fun to use when editing pictures. It transforms personal pictures into a nice one with the brightness balances and to edit them in a funky way with the different variety of editing. I’ve read a review from another user, and they said it is a good site but if you buy the more advanced photo editing it don’t compare because it has cost. My overall impresion about this particular site is that I think it is amazing. Just because its free and a varitey of different adjustments you can do to your image.

Web 1.0 vs. Web 2.0

Within the past tens years of 1994 – 2004, there has been upgraded technology that has made the Internet and the computer a easy way to use. When it all started, People had to write down every word/symbol/number correctly in order to function the computer right or it would NOT work. But now as the years pass on by, technology has become more and more advanced.

WEB 1.0. Web 1.0was the beginning of the Internet. When it was being developed at this time, you could mainly just see web pages- it was hard to make web pages due to hand coding every page. People back then had to be consumers; meaning that we were only able to view what others had made. Also, if gathering information, you weren’t able to drag, drop, cut, or copy the information. We were only able to visualise the web pages others made. Another factor is if you were to do some work or anything on another computer, and that computer didn’t have the same software as you, then your out of luck the other computer must of had the same software.

WEB 2.0. Now, as the years go by, and technology has become more advanced for the computer world. Now in this era we are able to still consume information but also produce our own. We can now contribute to the web, comment, blog, and make quick web pages in GDocs. Instead of relying on software to make things to put on the web, we now use web ware - this is an online service will provide some type of application-usually it’s free an usually you get access to the web ware over the Internet. A good example of web ware is a site called splashup.com. You can now also collaborate; meaning you are able to talk to someone else an share information, or work on a project together and not have to be in the same room! It allows you to talk to anyone, anytime, anywhere on the computer.
